In 1994, Pastors Joe and Linda Wingo found their hearts going out to the families of many of the local families in Monroe,GA, affected by recent industrial plant closings. On their back pourch, the first Angel Food distribution fed 34 families and it grew from there. It is not a hand out-it is a way for you to pay a little and get more for your money.The host-sites are non-profit.They want to help families in their communities, that is why there is NO income or background checks when you order.
Ok so now you know a little about the Angelfood Ministries,You might now be asking: How Angelfood Works: Buy buying from first rate suppliers at substantial volume discounts, Angel Food Ministries is able to provide families with a way to get nutritional food for less. Angel Food Ministries does not use out-of-date or inferior products.
If you are interested in ordering, you may be asking about: Payment: They accept cash, money order and foodstamps. No personal checks please.
Now you may want to know: How do I find a local Angelfood Ministries to me? Its simple, go to www.angelfoodministries.com and search for local host. Once you know the location of your local Host you can go there in person during there opperation hours and order or, go to www.angelfoodministries.com click on your local host site and order from home.Ordering online DOES NOT mean your food will be delivered or shipped to your home, you still have to go to your local host on the day of Distribution and pick up your order. Online they accept credit or debit cards,if you wish to pay with cash,foodstamps, or money order you will need to go to your local host and order in person.

With economy the way it is I truely recommend that everyone atleast try Angelfoods atleast once.Each basket has tons of food for way cheaper than what you would pay in your local stores. Today I just spent $98 and ordered tons of food, if I would have tried to buy all the food I just ordered, by shopping at Walmart I would have spent close to or over $300, I only get a little bit of foodstamps for my child & I that has to last us a month,so by using Angelfoods I will be able to stretch my dollar alot further.
